Job Description

UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly established technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur. It is part of UOB Group Technology and Operations, focused on delivering innovative financial technology solutions that drive business growth and digital transformation.

About The Department

The Technology and Operations function comprises five specialized teams: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. These teams collaborate to harness the power of technology in supporting UOB’s physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralizing, and standardizing technology systems and banking operations across Singapore and our overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

As a Technical Delivery Manager in the Enterprise Workflow System (EWF) team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade workflow solutions. You will work closely with system analysts, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and comply with UOB’s technology standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery for projects, enhancements, change requests, and releases.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional delivery activities across Business Analysts, System Analysts, Development, QA, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Vendor teams.
  • Facilitate requirements clarification, impact assessment, and solution discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are feasible, aligned with enterprise architecture, and compliant with security and control standards.
  • Oversee and track development progress, quality, technical risks, and readiness across environments.
  • Work with Test Manager to ensure SIT/UAT readiness, coverage, and timely defect resolution.
  • Prepare and manage technical implementation plans, deployment sequencing, and post‑release validation activities.
  • Manage vendor delivery quality, ensure timely submission of deliverables, and maintain consistent collaboration across teams.
  • Ensure all delivery activities adhere to UOB’s SDM methodology, governance requirements, and quality standards.
  • Provide clear and timely updates to Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and Leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in technology delivery, with strong grounding in System Analysis, Business Analysis, or Project Management.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret business requirements and assess system impacts.
  • Experience in banking workflows, such as customer onboarding, credit operations, branch services, or compliance processes.
  • Strong capabilities in process mapping, requirement refinement, and identifying upstream/downstream impacts.
  • Strong technical foundation with prior experience in software development, solution design, or system integration, enabling effective discussions with developers and architects.
  • Experience managing multi-system, multi-vendor, or cross-country delivery environments.
  • Strong project coordination capabilities including timeline planning, dependency management, risk/issue tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Familiarity with enterprise solutioning, integration patterns, workflow processing, and testing lifecycle (SIT/UAT).
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, facilitation, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage ambiguity in fast‑moving delivery environments.

Good To Have

  • Experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
  • Experience with IBM Datacap for document classification, extraction, and automation.
  • Familiarity with the IBM FileNet / Case Manager / ICN platform ecosystem.
  • Strong ability to understand application logic, integration flows, performance considerations, and production behavior.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools.
