Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level Full Stack Developer with 2-3 years of professional experience to join our growing engineering team. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, robust, and high-performance applications across both front-end and back-end systems. This role requires a strong problem-solver who can contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, leveraging modern technologies and cloud infrastructure.

Job Description (Principal Accountabilities)

  • Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full‑stack applications across front-end and back-end.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and best practices.
  • Maintain and update portal content for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor online platforms, respond to customer queries, and escalate complex issues.
  • Support digital campaigns to drive engagement and meet marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, IT, and UI/UX teams for consistent digital experiences.
  • Perform quality checks and UAT; identify and report issues.
  • Analyse basic portal analytics and support digital performance reporting.
  • Develop self-service features and FAQs to improve customer autonomy.
  • Ensure compliance with digital governance, accessibility, and data privacy standards.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Continuously improve development processes, tools, and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end technical issues.

AI-focused Responsibilities

  • Design and govern AI-driven workflows to improve engineering, operations, security, and content management.
  • Partner with development, operations, security, and business teams to optimise AI usage.
  • Create high-quality prompts and reusable AI patterns for enterprise use.
  • Validate AI outputs and embed AI into workflows such as security remediation, issue handling, coding support, and content creation.
  • Apply technical and analytical expertise to scale generative AI adoption effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, or a related field
  • Work experience of 2-3 years in total; specifically in digital content and online platform management.
  • Modern front-end frameworks such as Angular and/or React
  • HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)/TypeScript
  • Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs using C# .NET (including .NET Core) and Node.js
  • Write optimized SQL queries for both SQL Server and PostgreSQL, and ensure data integrity and performance
  • Manage application deployments using Docker containerization
  • Experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, SQS/SNS)
  • Experience with RESTful API design and consumption
  • version control systems, particularly Git
  • Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS) for portal content management, intermediate-level written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills, and strong attention to detail.
