Job Description
- Handle accounts receivable processes, including posting and reconciling customer payments.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements with accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and transactions.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
- Support the preparation of financial audits and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies or customer queries.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting & finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Junior AR Accountant Should Have
- A degree or professional qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, particularly in accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
