About the role
Reporting To Process QA Manager
Location Penang
Key responsibilities
- To manage day to day operations quality tasks from product / process review to release of product.
- To review and enforce implementation of all procedures and controls related to GMP and HACCP.
- To manage NPI and other Food Safety related program.
- In charge of RM / NPI review & compliance to FS requirement.
- To advise on product disposition and support investigation / troubleshooting process.
- To assist Process QM in quality related tasks.
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum Degree in Food Science or other science disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in food industry;
- Possess a thorough knowledge of product line and manufacturing processes, general knowledge of food industry in Food Safety Program and Hazard Analysis (HACCP) and process control procedures / manual
- Good initiative and results oriented;
- Exemplary leadership qualities and able to make difficult decisions;
- A team player with high commitment and able to perform under pressure
