Job Responsibilities
What you will do:
Creative Development & Execution
- Develop high-quality HTML5 creatives, ensuring they meet performance and compatibility standards across different platforms.
- Work closely with the sales and digital teams to create dynamic, engaging, and interactive ad formats.
- Lead custom creative executions, including complex animations, rich media formats, and third-party API integrations.
- Maintain a creative template library, enabling efficient reuse and scalability for future campaigns.
- Explore and apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate creative production, including concept generation, asset adaptation, copy variation, animation prototyping, and creative personalization.
- Use AI tools responsibly to improve creative output while ensuring brand consistency, quality control, and compliance with internal guidelines.
Productization & Creative Solutions
- Standardize creative templates to streamline the development process and accelerate campaign rollouts.
- Work on productizing creative services, offering scalable and repeatable creative solutions that drive efficiency and revenue.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in ad tech, rich media, creative automation tools, and AI-powered creative technologies to continuously improve creative offerings.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into creative workflows, including automated creative resizing, dynamic copy generation, audience-based creative variation, and campaign personalization.
- Support the development of AI-enhanced creative products and solutions that can be packaged for commercial use.
Project Management & Workflow Optimization
- Manage creative production workflows, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality expectations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, product, and marketing teams, to align creative outputs with business goals.
- Establish and maintain a Creative Library, organizing assets for easy access and repurposing.
- Introduce AI-enabled workflow improvements to increase production efficiency, reduce repetitive manual tasks, and improve turnaround time for campaign delivery.
- Evaluate and recommend AI tools or automation platforms that can improve creative development, QA, versioning, and asset management processes.
Measurement & Data Integration
- Ensure all creatives are tagged correctly to capture Astro's first-party data, enabling better audience insights and campaign optimization.
- Work with the ad ops team to implement tracking, measurement, and reporting mechanisms for all digital creative assets.
- Optimize creatives for viewability, engagement, and performance based on data-driven insights.
- Leverage AI-driven insights, predictive analytics, and performance data to recommend creative optimizations and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Support the use of AI in dynamic creative optimization, audience segmentation, and personalized creative delivery.
Requirements
Who you are:
- Master/ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Multimedia Design or in any relevant field
- 7+ years of experience in creative engineering, ad technology, or digital advertising development, with a proven track record of executing high-impact creative solutions.
- Expert-level proficiency in HTML5 and CSS, for building highly interactive and dynamic creatives in responsive design principles and cross-device/browser compatibility.
- Extensive experience with creative ad-building platforms (e.g., Google Web Designer, Celtra, Adobe Animate) and custom ad executions.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and workflows, including generative AI, creative automation, image/video generation, copy variation, asset resizing, and campaign personalization.
- Ability to evaluate and apply AI tools to improve creative production efficiency, creative quality, and campaign performance.
- Ability to drive creative innovation by identifying new ad formats, testing emerging technologies, and leading the evolution of Astro’s premium digital creative suite.
- Experience working with personalized and data-driven creatives, integrating real-time data feeds, and building dynamic creative optimization (DCO) solutions.
- Ability to integrate and work with third-party APIs for custom interactive ad units and immersive ad experiences.
- Experience implementing event tracking, pixels, and advanced audience tagging to enhance measurement and capture first-party data insights.
- Understanding of how AI, automation, and data can be used to enhance creative decision-making, campaign optimization, and audience engagement.
- Proven leadership in managing creative teams, external vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute large-scale creative projects.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects, set clear roadmaps, and ensure timely delivery of complex campaigns.
- Exceptional problem-solving and creative thinking abilities, with the ability to translate marketing and business objectives into high-performing digital ad solutions.
