Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support MySQL databases on Linux platforms
- Perform routine maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of MySQL databases
- Execute backup and restore operations to ensure data integrity
- Collaborate on database capacity planning and monitoring
- Apply Linux system administration skills to support database operations
Must-have Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in MySQL database administration on Linux
- Hands-on experience with MySQL database administration on Linux
- Strong understanding of optimization, tuning, and troubleshooting techniques for MySQL databases
- Proven hands-on backup and restore capabilities for MySQL databases
- Familiarity with basic Linux system administration
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible
- Experience designing and refining physical database architecture for reliability
