bjectives of the Position
The Global Customs Performance Management (Senior Executive) monitors operational performance of global Customs Operations via Kuala Lumpur Asia Pacific Service Centre (Hub). The role’s objectives include:
- Measuring service execution, quality of service as well as adherence to standard processes as per global Guidance documentation to ensure adherence to local, national or global regulations.
- Support Export & Import customs declarations, Inward processing or similar saving programs, handbook procedures, Preferential Origin declaration and all other customs processes.
- Closely collaborate with the global Steering unit to initiate process-oriented risk assessments to check compliance with the agreed strand procedures and initiates mitigation measures if applicable.
- Incorporates the ability for deep diving process analysis and deep understanding about Customs & Foreign Trade regulations.
- To support any improvement to ensure an agreed service level with cost control and in compliance with governmental regulations and BASF company policies.

ain Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
- Initiates and defines global, regional and local monitoring processes on operational Customs Performance as defined
- Support organizing meeting with countries and any business review as necessary
- Deep dive into and analyses of BASF internal & external customs data and presentation in a visual standardized format
- Prepare monthly statistics and KPI report for service recipient
- Support the data preparation required for dashboards, including alerts and analysis
- Support the standardization of reporting of departmental and organizational measurements
- Support the automation of routine data collection and develop reporting processes that aid operational performance management
Job Requirements
- Must have degree/diploma in supply chain or related field
- Must have experience in customs, foreign trade and performance management in customs related topics
- Strong communication and argumentation skills
- SAP is preferred
- Must be flexible to work in EMEA timezone
- Excellent analytical thinking
