Business & Operational Audit

You will also need to be able to communicate complex findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

What you do

The Team Lead Role Is Responsible For

  • Maintaining and continuously enhancing risk surveillance methodologies and analytical models.
  • Monitoring and tracking identified risk indicators, alerts, and flagged cases to ensure timely follow-up and resolution by relevant stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and validating the quality and effectiveness of risk assessments and investigations.
  • Collaborating closely with Internal Audit, Compliance, and business units to ensure timely closure of audit findings, compliance observations, and control gaps.
  • Escalating significant risk issues and emerging trends to management to facilitate informed decision-making and effective risk mitigation.
  • Driving data-driven risk intelligence initiatives to strengthen the Bank's overall risk oversight and governance capabilities.

Key Candidate Profile

We are seeking a candidate with the following key attributes:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging risks from complex datasets.
  • Proven leadership capabilities to manage stakeholders across multiple functions and drive timely risk remediation actions.
  • Deep understanding of risk management, AML, compliance, operational risk, and market conduct surveillance frameworks.
  • Experience in data analytics, intelligence gathering, surveillance systems, and risk reporting.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to present complex risk matters clearly to senior management.
  • Proactive, highly accountable, and results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to balance regulatory requirements, business objectives, and operational effectiveness in a dynamic environment.

Who you are

  • A degree in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, or business administration
  • At least 3 years of experience in audit or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
