Job Brief

To manage the fixed assets management function effectively and efficiently

Job Responsibilities

  • Fixed Assets Management
  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset (FA) module in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Oversee the tagging of all fixed assets to ensure traceability and accountability. Ensure all fixed asset custodians understand their responsibilities.
  • Manage disposal/write-off procedure and ensure proper classification and segregation of damaged, obsolete, or retired assets for write-off procedures.
  • Support periodic fixed asset sighting and ensure compliance with asset management policies.
  • Support investment control activities and provide insights into asset utilization and return on investment.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) relevant to finance operations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support the preparation of audit schedules and financial reports required by management.
  • Support other ad hoc finance-related duties as assigned by management.
  • Reporting, Analysis and Compliance
  • Enhance and implement internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
  • Manage and update Capital Investment forecasts and track actual expenditure on a monthly basis.
  • Support preparation of tax schedules and audit-related documentation.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and the company secretary to fulfill statutory and audit requirements.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and filing to support audit trails and compliance reviews.
  • Support other ad hoc finance-related duties as assigned by management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Support compilation of departmental investment budgets/forecast in coordination with respective departments.
  • Contributes to the identification of trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities based on collected data.
