Job Description
The Control system Engineer is responsible for developing control system design packages from preliminary level from IFC level and provide technical clarifications to IS factory on control system install works. The Control System Engineer to guide subcontracting staff from initial installation phase to testing and commissioning phase. Provide technical guidance to Supply chain and Material Management in global and local locations to support Infrasturture solutions production works. The Control system Engineer works with local and regional teams both within Vertiv.
Responsibilities
- Produce Control system drawing packages
- Support engineering of current production designs.
- Review Control system BOQs
- Provide technical support on control system subcontractors, project managers, QAQC, Safety engineers & Vertiv procurement team
- Develop testing and commissioning documents
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree, Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or related degree
Requirements
- Around 5 years of experience in construction projects
- Around 5 years of experience in Control system design works
- Good understanding about ELV systems for Data centre projects
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in writing functional requirements and documenting designs.
- Experience with AutoCAD/Revit or similar tools.
- Ability to debug, validate, and develop/support manufacturing tests on control systems
- Experience in testing and commissioning ELV systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
- Effective team member, consistent positive attitude, creativity.
