Job Purpose

Assist regional team of Group Risk & Compliance (GRC) in carrying out risk and compliance activities and initiatives to ensure the effective implementation of risk and compliance policies, frameworks, and guidelines across the region to mitigate potential risks.


Job Description

Support the Regional Head – Group Risk & Compliance in the implementation of risk and compliance policies, frameworks, and guidelines across the region.


Risk and Compliance Management (Region-Specific)

  • Assist in the quarterly review of the risks via quarterly Q-radar risk assessment, RCMQ, GHO Risk profile review, and continuous monitoring of risk and compliance exposure and collaborate with BCIRCs to mitigate key risks via policy, process enhancements and training.
  • Assist in quarterly reporting cycle, including regional and group risk data churning, report preparation according to aggregator's cycle, and admin works such as meeting arrangement.
  • Assist in implementation of GRC initiatives in respective technical areas including Tier 4 risk assessment, Climate Change risk assessment (CCRA), Corruption risk assessment (CRA), Business Continuity Management programme (BCM), etc.


Technical/Functional Areas (Group Focus)

Support the technical team in planning and developing group-wide programmes in the areas covering the areas below on a rotational basis:

  • Enterprise Risk Management
  • Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption
  • Business Continuity Management
  • Whistleblowing Management
  • Procurement Governance
  • Policy Governance
  • Data privacy
  • Insurance management


Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Business Administration / Risk Management / Legal / Finance or other related disciplines.
  • Relevant certification in risk management and/or compliance– preferable.
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of related experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, or other relevant disciplines within the fields of governance, audit, risk or compliance.
  • Prior experience in compliance-related roles will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in speaking and reading Mandarin.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills and critical thinking skills in carrying out the day-to-day work.
