What we're looking for

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g. HACCP, ISO 22000)

What you'll be doing

To supervise the daily operations of the QA laboratory.
To ensure all QC matters and tests are performed in accordance to the described work instructions
To verify all QC test records.
To assist the QA Manager to investigate the root cause of non-conformity in in-coming materials, in-process products and finished products.
To assist the QA Manager to investigate consumer complaint.
To assist the QA Manager to carry out research and development work.
To ensure laboratory equipment are calibrated in accordance to the calibration schedule.
To assist the QA Manager to evaluate the suitability of raw and packaging material sample from supplier.
To report any non-conformity in in-comings, in-process products and finished products to QA Manager.
To participate in internal quality and food safety audits programmes.
Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and quality standards
Any other tasks given from time to time by the QA Manager.
