The Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of all retail marketing activities, including planning, budgeting, execution, and continuous improvement to drive retail sales. This role will also lead and supervise the Designers team in producing high quality marketing materials, while ensuring effective collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic Planning & Calendar Management
- Develop and manage the annual retail trade calendar
- Plan, strategize, and evaluate retail marketing activations, identifying opportunities for improvement
Campaign & Promotion Management
- Lead the Retail Marketing team in executing strategic retail promotions, campaigns, events, and advertising initiatives with precision and efficiency
- Develop in-store marketing strategies and point-of-sale materials to enhance the customer shopping experience
- Ensure annual sales targets are met through tactical and data-driven marketing strategies
Collaboration & Partnerships
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners to develop impactful marketing strategies
- Identify opportunities for brand visibility through partnerships and joint marketing initiatives
Budget & Performance Management
- Manage the A&P budget to maximize ROI
- Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement
Operational & Team Leadership
- Oversee multiple divisions, including mall marketing, mailroom, and design & creative teams
- Manage day-to-day operational and administrative functions to ensure seamless execution of marketing activities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve departmental goals
