- Identify, qualify, and advance utility solar project opportunities across assigned SEA markets from initial market screening through site identification, feasibility confirmation, and opportunity handover to the EPCC team.
- Maintain a live SEA opportunity pipeline tracker covering all markets, with stage, MW potential, key contacts, and next actions.
- Conduct regular in-country market visits attending authority briefings, partner meetings, and site assessments.
- Build and maintain a vetted subcontractor roster for each market covering solar installation, cabling and onshore works, civil works, and interconnection facilities.
- Qualify subcontractors against the company's technical and commercial standards; maintain documented vendor lists for each trade by country.
- Coordinate subcontractor introductions to the Regional EPCC Development Executive for active tender nominations.
- Build and maintain relationships with energy ministries, grid operators, permit authorities, and relevant government agencies in each market.
- Track policy developments, tender announcements, and regulatory changes that affect the company's pipeline.
- Map the permit pathway for utility solar projects in each active market documenting timelines, requirements, and key decision-makers.
- Identify, qualify, and manage local development partners and JV co-sponsors in each SEA market.
- Maintain active partner relationships through regular touchpoints and joint market development activities.
- Escalate JV term discussions and new market entry opportunities to the Project Manager and Director.
- Direct and manage the in-country Vietnam Lead and Philippines Lead setting workplans, reviewing output, and providing development support.
- Manage the SEA Market Development Executive ensuring effective deployment across market priorities.
- Submit weekly SEA pipeline and market intelligence updates to the Project Manager.
- Contribute to the monthly regional report covering opportunities, subcontractor network, authority engagement, and risks.
- 3–5 years in RE project development, infrastructure origination, or market development across SEA.
- Proven experience working and travelling in at least 2 SEA markets.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Fluent in English; additional SEA language (Vietnamese, Tagalog, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai) is a strong advantage
- Experience managing in-country teams or local partners remotely.
