This role is based in Penang and reports directly to the Shops Commercial Lead.
Responsibilities:
As a Specialist, Business Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth across our marketplace by:Leading the execution of strategic sales plans to onboard new vendors to the foodpanda platform.
Introducing foodpanda’s suite of services and solutions to prospective partners through both in-person and virtual meetings.
Building and managing a robust sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities through proactive outreach and market research.
Negotiating and closing high-value deals with key partners across the F&B, FMCG, and retail sectors.
Ensuring a seamless handover to the Vendor Onboarding team and supporting activation efforts for newly signed accounts.
Gathering and analyzing market insights to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams including Marketing, Operations, and Account Management to ensure exceptional partner experiences.
