As our End User Computing (EUC) Engineer you’ll be responsible for the ongoing management and operational support of our EUC environment. Here you’ll ensure users have the necessary hardware, software, and support required to perform their roles. You’ll also be involved in maintaining the computing environment, managing endpoint devices and security, administering virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), while providing remote support as needed.
Within this position, your scope will cover:
- Managing and maintaining client computing environments, including physical hardware and virtual desktops to optimise performance and uptime
- Providing technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues via remote and in-person assistance
- Responsible for delivering endpoint management, ensuring devices are properly configured, secure, and compliant with our policies
- Administer virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions
- Collaborate with IT support teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues affecting end users
- Manage device imaging, software deployment, patching, and updates to maintain security and performance standards
- Ensure proper documentation of hardware inventories, configurations, and support tickets to track assets and service history\\
