The Project LSS Quality Executive is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) at project sites, particularly for Large Scale Solar (LSS) developments. The role ensures that all construction and installation activities comply with ISO 9001 standards, regulatory requirements, client specifications, and approved methodologies, while promoting a strong quality culture across project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management & Compliance

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with approved method statements, inspection and test plans (ITP), and quality procedures.
  • Monitor and verify material approvals, workmanship standards, and installation quality at site.
  • Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and clients on quality-related matters.

QA/QC Inspection & Monitoring

  • Conduct daily site inspections and quality checks for civil, mechanical, and electrical works related to solar farm construction.
  • Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained for all inspections, tests, and approvals.
  • Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Site Observation Reports (SOR), and ensure timely closure.
  • Witness testing and commissioning activities where required.

Audit & Documentation Control

  • Support internal and external quality audits at project sites.
  • Maintain proper control of quality documents including drawings, method statements, ITPs, and reports.
  • Prepare and submit quality reports, inspection records, and audit findings in a timely manner.

Continuous Improvement

  • Assist in identifying quality issues, root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality performance.
  • Support lessons learned documentation and implementation across projects.

Training & Awareness

  • Support the implementation of Quality-related training and On-the-Job Training (OJT) at site.
  • Promote quality awareness among site personnel to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.

Coordination & Support

  • Work closely with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure quality compliance.
  • Support the QSHE Manager and Project Manager in achieving project quality objectives.
  • Ensure timely communication of quality issues and progress updates.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC or Quality Assurance, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or construction projects.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System and QA/QC practices.
  • Experience in site inspection, documentation, and quality control processes is preferred.
