About AZC
AZC is a fractional marketing agency for startups and consumer brands. We do the strategy and the execution: content, positioning, community building, and the systems that hold it all together.
The Role
This is a 2-month structured internship programme (15-20 hours/week) with clear wins built in. You'll work closely with the founder across 3 main areas:
- Business Development: Identify and close business growth opportunities. You'll research prospects, spot openings, and help shape how we target them.
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute content strategies for both AZC and our clients.
- Operations: Experiment with AI workflows to develop better ways to run our systems.
Across all of this, you'll get the chance to:
- Develop an eye for good design and copy. We'll expect you to look at a piece of work and identify 3–5 things that could make it stronger.
- Build a more analytical mind. Learn how to dig into data and make decisions driven by a mix of strong evidence and intuition.
- Manage projects end-to-end, from strategy to execution.
This is a paid opportunity, with competitive incentives for hitting performance targets.
Who We're Looking For
We care less about your CV and more about how you think and work. You might be a strong fit if you have:
- Intrinsic motivation: You've lost track of time building, fixing, or understanding something because you couldn't stop thinking about it.
- Curiosity: You want context, not just instructions. You ask why something works, question defaults, and change your mind when the evidence says you should.
- Reliability: You do what you said you'd do, when you said you'd do it. If something's slipping, you flag it early.
- Integrity: You own mistakes without deflection and are honest about your capacity and limits.
One requirement: This programme is only open to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate university programme.
How to Apply
No resume needed. Instead:
- Fill out the attached Google Form
- Record a Loom, no longer than 5 minutes, sharing: why you're applying, a project you're most proud of (could be anything from high school, university, an internship or a personal project), and your post-graduation career ambitions (as of now - we know these things can change with time!)
We're looking forward to meeting you!
