PT Tangguh Samudera Jaya (TSJ), established in 1986, is a stevedoring company within the Samudera Indonesia Group, serving key shipping operations at Tanjung Priok Port. The company manages stevedoring, cargodoring, and receiving/delivery activities, particularly at wharf 303–305 and Terminals 1 and 2, for both international container ships and domestic break-bulk and container vessels. TSJ operates modern cargo-handling equipment, including container cranes, mobile harbor cranes, rubber-tyred gantry cranes, and reach stackers to serve international container customers. The company maintains ISO 9001, ISO 45001, SMK3, and ISPS Code certifications, supported by comprehensive terminal operator liability insurance. Starting in 2024, TSJ holds a 25-year concession at wharf 303–305 Terminal 3 Tanjung Priok Port, reinforcing its position as one of Samudera Indonesia’s key international port operators with substantial berth and yard capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting market mapping and business competition analysis.
• Maintaining good relationships with shipping line customers, both prospective and existing.
• Ensuring the fulfillment of agreement aspects (Terminal Service Agreement/Service Level Agreement) with shipping lines.
• Developing and proposing short-term marketing strategies (social media, website, promotions, etc.) and long-term strategies (business strategic plan, feasibility study, etc.).
• Formulating and proposing follow-up improvement strategies in collaboration with other departments.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (S1) in any major. A degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics/Transportation Management, or Business Management is an added value.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in commercial, business development, or customer relations. Experience in the maritime industry (ports/terminals, shipping, agency) is preferred.
• Language Skills: Proficient in active English with a minimum score of TOEFL 500 / TOEIC 550 / IELTS 5.5. Ability to speak other foreign languages is an added value.
