Position Overview
Responsible for ensuring all surgical instruments and environments are sterile, assisting during procedures, coordinating with the perioperative team, and managing surgical supplies effectively.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain sterile fields and ensure all instruments are properly prepared for surgical procedures
- Prepare operating room and required supplies in a neat and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with the perioperative team to support patient care during surgery
- Work collaboratively with team members and manage stock and supply orders
- Provide additional patient care support as required
