You Will Be Responsible For
- managing the team and vendor to implement Enterprise Data Platform, deliver successful system implementation with effectiveness, high quality, accuracy, security and cost control;
- establishing and executing on data governance framework, policies, standards, and guidelines for IT data access and quality management;
- establishing common-data-model design and enablement across applications, to ensure the reusability of the data and formulate the Single-Source-of-Truth for the Authority;
- developing standards and best practices to build a robust BI solution and providing guidance to stakeholders on conceiving efficient approaches to developing business insight, enable self-serve BI and operational data reports;
- supporting key analytical and digital transformation initiatives, prototype, and KPI visualizations to the stakeholders and management;
- supporting business solutions holistically to ensure data and insights seamless integration with other application / infrastructure components; and
- performing any other duties from time to time as the Authority may reasonably direct.
You Should
- possess a recognised university degree or above in Computer Science, Data Engineer, Data Science or equivalent;
- have a minimum 10 years of data management and analytics in large-scale organisation with at least 3 years in supervisor role;
- have strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading a team of data professionals and data projects;
- have solid experience in data management and analytics software with technologies like Anaconda, Jupyter, Python, Spark, NoSQL, Node.js, Tableau and Cloud Services;
- have understanding of data governance, quality control, and security best practices, establishing and enforcing data operating model and procedure;
- be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners, and able to communicate and deliver business insights efficiently to non-technical stakeholders;
- have past track record driving digital transformation and similar data-driven initiatives, including model development covering segmentation, acquisition, cross-selling and related applications will be advantage;
- have experience in advanced analytics and machine learning frameworks such as Sagemaker, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar will be advantage;
- be able to build good relationships with different stakeholders across the organisation; and
- be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
