SALES & ACCOUNT MANAGER

Marvelsoft is headquartered in Hong Kong and we are currently hiring a Sales & Account Manager. This role spans the entire lifecycle of prospecting, new client onboarding and business management of the existing client account; from initial contact, qualification of a prospect’s requirements, through creating a technical proposal and finalisation of the sales process to performing post-sale activities, such as handling of any new feature requests raised by the client.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the business development throughout the sales cycle
- Developing an understanding of the products & related infrastructure needs of a wide range of clients and prospects
- Assessing competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities
- Developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations
- Developing & maintaining sales documentation and presentations
- Internal validation & tracking of projects
- Meeting the set sales KPI targets
- Continuing to develop current relationships through working with our customer support team and maintaining contact
- Continuously growing technical product knowledge and understanding of global financial markets while developing sales skills
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience/certification, ideally in finance or computer science
- Excellent spoken & written English (knowledge of Mandarin is a great plus)
- Passion for technology and finance
- Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities
- Organised with good time management
- Responsive with good communication skills working in a multicultural environment
- Resourceful and self-reliant with good critical thinking and problem solving
