Responsibilities
- Perform software modification and provide maintenance support for Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system and related software applications.
- Assist and participate in peer design review to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Prepare, execute and document various testing activities including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Generic Workshop Testing (GWT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Type Approval Testing (TAT), and other relevant tests.
- Prepare and maintain design, quality assurance, operational and technical documents.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues encountered during system development, testing, implementation, and production operations.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years’ in software development and system maintenance; OR
- Higher Diploma in a relevant discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Practical experience in software development, debugging, and system maintenance.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript and other relevant technologies (HTML5, CSS3, React, Electron, Node.js, Next.js, Vue).
- Experience in communication technologies such as RESTful API, IBM MQ and Rabbit MQ will be advantage.
- Experience in C, C++ and MFC will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
