As an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team, this role will work closely with the team across a broad range of commercial disputes including complex and high-stake commercial litigation, international arbitration and regulatory investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team on a wide spectrum of commercial disputes and regulatory advisory work
- Conduct legal research and analysis in relation to Hong Kong and cross-border disputes
- Draft pleadings, regulatory responses and client correspondence (NQ - PQE2)
- Reviewing, negotiating and advising on litigation related commercial matters
- Work independently and take the lead on urgent and complex matters (PQE3-5)
- Liaise with clients, counsels and professional advisers under appropriate supervision (NQ - PQE2) / Report to and take instructions from clients with minimal supervision (PQE3-5)

Skills and Experience
- Newly Hong Kong-qualified lawyer up to 5 years of relevant post qualification experience in general litigation and dispute resolution; experience in sizable law firm is an advantage
- Solid foundation in dispute resolution and regulatory investigations
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
- Solid knowledge and technical skills in commercial litigation and dispute resolution
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills and commercial acumen
- Excellent client management skills to build and maintain client relationship
- Dynamic, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Strong team player
