Job Description
- Manage and lead a team of ~14 engineers, ensuring effective daily operations
- Oversee network infrastructure design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance
- Act as Tier 3 escalation point for complex network incidents and troubleshooting
- Define and maintain operational procedures to meet SLA commitments
- Drive improvements in network performance, stability, and security posture
- Develop network strategies aligned with architecture standards and best practices
- Implement process enhancements to reduce risks and improve service uptime
- Explore and introduce new tools and technologies to improve team productivity
- Monitor and optimise team resource allocation and utilisation
- Handle high-pressure situations while ensuring service continuity
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 8+ years of network engineering experience with leadership exposure
- Minimum 3 years managing or leading technical teams
- CCIE or HCIE certification is required
- Strong background in routing, switching, firewall, and network security
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex network incidents
- Experience in managed network services is advantageous
- Solid understanding of network protocols and security frameworks
- Exposure to automation or scripting tools is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and lead critical operations
