Application Support Analyst (Information Technology)
Key Responsibilities
- Support applications to resolve incidents and business requests within SLA, focusing on root cause analysis and proactive improvements
- Perform technical troubleshooting, system administration, and performance tuning for investment or financial platforms
- Identify opportunities to enhance monitoring, automation, and efficiency to reduce downtime and improve service quality
- Work closely with business teams, vendors, and IT partners to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business needs
- Be available for off-hours support and weekend deployments when required
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues, track escalations, and ensure timely fixes
Requirements
- University degree in computer science or related fields
- At least 3 years' investment platform management platform support experience (e.g. SimCorp)
- Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and drive process improvements
- Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash/Shell), SQL, Linux/Unix, and system administration. Familiarity with databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server), Windows environments. Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, JIRA)
- Knowledge of ITIL practices-incident, problem, and change management
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
Conditions of service
- Appointment will be made on fixed contract terms
