As an operator of critical energy infrastructure, cybersecurity is a vital part of how we protect our business, our partners and the communities we serve. As Eurowind continues to grow and adapt to an evolving threat landscape and regulatory requirements such as NIS2, we are strengthening security as an integrated part of the organisation.

You will join our Cyber and Information Security team – a team of four supporting a global organisation. We do not scale through headcount alone, but through expertise, smart automation and AI. That means real ownership, meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to help shape how security evolves across Eurowind.

The role

This is a rare opportunity to step into a genuinely broad security role early in your career. You will not be placed in a narrow silo. Instead, you will work across multiple security disciplines and gain exposure to operations, detection, advisory, testing, architecture and automation.

You do not need experience in every area below, and you will not be expected to do everything from day one. We will shape the role over time based on your strengths, interests, development and the needs of the organisation. What matters most is curiosity, a solid technical foundation and the drive to keep learning.

Your work may include:

• Supporting threat intelligence, incident response and forensic investigations
• Advising colleagues and stakeholders across our international organisation
• Supporting blue, red and purple team exercises, as well as penetration testing follow-up
• Building and improving AI-driven security workflows and supporting data governance
• Helping configure and optimise core security capabilities across monitoring, detection, vulnerability management, privileged access and secure remote access
• Contributing to detection engineering, automation, and the development of secure and scalable architecture, systems and controls

We value people who challenge assumptions, think independently and bring different perspectives – whether that means thinking like an attacker, questioning a detection rule from first principles or seeing a data flow differently. Leadership in our team is about creating the conditions for better answers to emerge, not pretending to have all the answers.

Who we’re looking for

We care more about mindset and potential than about a perfect CV. You may have built your foundation through formal education, self-study, hands-on projects or a mix of all three. What matters is that you are technically curious, eager to learn and ready to take ownership.

We imagine you bring:

• A solid foundation in IT or cyber security
• Scripting or programming skills in Python, PowerShell or similar
• Curiosity about one or more of the security areas described above
• A structured and analytical way of working
• The confidence to work independently while asking the right questions
• Strong communication skills, as you will collaborate across teams, functions and countries

It’s a plus if you have:

• Built something practical, such as a home lab, a detection rule or a script that solved a real problem
• Experience working with log data, including parsing, querying or writing detection logic
• Used AI or LLMs as practical tools in your workflow
• An understanding of attacker behaviour, frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, or hands-on experience from CTFs or similar challenges
