The Universal Company was founded in 1971 to manufacture cordial distributed and marketed under the ‘7 Rings’ brand. Having successfully established ourselves as a trusted name in the cordials sector, we diversified into other products. Recognizing consumers’ need, we focus our priority in producing fruit drink base concentrates in 1992. Sold under the Sun Up brand. Positioned as being a premium, natural and nutritious bottle juice concentrate, the brand has quickly gained market share and eventually became the market leader in Malaysia. To enhance our future direction and image to supply nutritional products of the highest quality to discerning consumers, the company changed its name to Universal NutriBeverage Sdn Bhd (UNB) on 1st November 1997. Today, UNB produces a variety of premium quality cordials, healthy fruit drink base concentrates and ready-to-drink fruit drink/ juices. Utilising the latest technology and highest standard in production quality, UNB has earned a respectable share of the local market and exports to over 30 countries worldwide.
