Job Description
Role
In order to protect our users against increasingly complex scams, Seraph Secure must stay at the forefront of anti-scam research. We do this by constantly evolving our custom tooling, as well as our automated and AI-powered research systems. We use Go for a number of these projects, and we are looking for an experienced Go developer to help us stay at the forefront of anti-scam technology.
You'll need to be self-employed and prepared to work under temporary contract.
You'll collaborate with our distributed team, with flexible working hours and the ability to work from anywhere you please.
Responsibilities
- Development of new features for our existing tools
- Code review
- Bug fixes
- Continuous improvement and optimization
- Incident response
- Ownership of specific tasks or projects
Qualifications
A developer in this role must have expert-level experience in the Go language. A large part of this role will be using your own judgement to quality-check and improve existing systems, as well as developing new features and tools from scratch.
As we are a fully remote team, you'll need excellent written and spoken English skills. We're also looking for someone with a flexible, collaborative attitude to work, ideally with experience working independently as part of a small, distributed team.
You should be comfortable working with and without agentic assistance, and ideally have optimized your own workflow to produce quality code with high confidence.

Rate
$60/hr
